The APB SLAMMIVERSARY is a team style charity tournament celebrating Adaptive Pickleball’s first year as a 501c3 non-profit.
Each team will have a Team Captain responsible for recruiting 2 male and 2 female players. Four teams will be in the tournament. There will be three rounds of Pool Play and one round of Medal Play to determine which team win Gold, Silver and Bronze. The APB SLAMMIVERSARY will be completed within three hours.
For Pool Play, each team will play a Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and a unique Mixed Doubles match. The Men’s and Women’s Doubles matches will play a game to 11 points (win by 1). The Mixed Doubles match will be unique with each team fielding a Line #1 and a Line #2 team. The Mixed Doubles match will be played to 15 points (win by 1). Both Line #1 teams will start the game but once one team reaches 8 points, Line #2 will finish the game.
For Medal Match play, seeding will be determined by Total Wins. Tiebreaker #1 will be Total Points. Tiebreaker #2 will be the Winning Team from the Mixed Doubles match.
This is a charity tournament with each team making a minimum donation of $100 per team to Adaptive Pickleball –
